What is a Program Management?

Program Management is managing and coordinating multiple projects within an organization so that an important outcome can be achieved. It involves overseeing the overall program strategy, goals, and objectives, as well as ensuring that all projects are aligned with the organization's overall mission and vision.

How is Program Management different from Project Management?

A Program Manager may manage each individual project, or they may have individual Project Managers anwser to them. Program Managers are also concerned with the risks and resources that emerge between the different projects within their program. Because multiple projects are involved in a program, PgMPers (Program Managers) often work with senior executives in various parts of a company.
